You are invited to add your email to the South Island Foster Parents distribution list. This is a great way to ensure you receive notices about upcoming meetings, social events, and ongoing trainings that happen in our local fostering community. To ensure that you stay connected, join our email list on our website or forward your current email address to FPSS Society Administrative Assistant, Krista Shelkey at admin@fpsss.com or call 1-888-922-8437 toll free.
FPSS uses these distribution lists to keep foster parents up-to-date on:
- Workshops and on-going training;
- Support and networking opportunities;
- The Island Connection Newsletter;
- Social and networking opportunities;
- Changes to ministry policies and practices; and
- Important information of interest to foster parents on Vancouver Island
FPSS Society will never share your email address with other parties and you can unsubscribe from the list at any time. Just click on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any FPSS Society email or call the Regional Office (1-888-922-8437) and ask to have your name removed.
If you are looking for information, links and online resources, you can find many of them on our website at www.fpsss.com. You can access this site without subscribing to the FPSS Society distribution list. You will find current monthly calendars listing all the foster community events happening in our community and can download these directly to your smartphone.
