BC Foster Care Education Program Schedules
All registrations for BCFCE classes on Vancouver Island must be made through the Regional office. It is important that foster parents register for classes they plan to attend; if minimum registration numbers are not reached prior to classes beginning, classes may be postponed.
FPSS invites foster parents to register for the BCFCE program by contacting the Regional Office in Victoria at:
1-888-922-8437 (Toll Free)
Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm

BCFCE is the mandatory training program that all foster caregivers in BC must complete within two years of signing a Family Care Home Agreement according to Standard 8.7 of the Resource Work Policies.
All registrations must be done through the Regional Office in Victoria. Caregivers can call to register at 1-888-922-8437.
If caregivers have any question about which modules they have already completed, they can call the Regional Office and we will provide this information.
Resource Workers are encouraged to contact the caregivers they work with to let them know this training is available.
Caregivers are more likely to attend training when they receive this support from their worker.
