development and behaviour later in life and techniques to more effectively work with hurt children.”
In any group of children, we will have AT LEAST ONE who has experienced some kind of trauma.
Understanding how their past impacts their present can empower us to guide them to healing and better behaviours
instead of having our interactions result in further deepening their hurts and wounds.
instead of having our interactions result in further deepening their hurts and wounds.
Learn the effects of trauma on a child’s development and how that affects their ability to process and respond
to the world around them. These children don’t react and respond in the same ways as children who have not
experienced trauma and therefore need help in understanding their feelings and regulating their emotions and
responses.
The child who is constantly misbehaving might be struggling to process what they are experiencing in the world
around them. Learn how to help kids through and bring healing and wholeness by teaching them to understand and
regulate their feelings.
