Car Seat Installation and Inspection Clinic
Wednesday, May 25th, 6:30pm to 8:00pm
FPSS Society Office, 145-735 Goldstream Avenue

Over 90% of car seats are misused in some way. Motor vehicle collisions are the number one cause of fatal injury in children. A correctly selected, installed, and used child restraint or booster seat is the best thing you can do to protect your child in the car. Passenger Safety Technicians will teach caregivers how to use and install car sets correctly and be available to inspect car seats for those who wish.

To register, contact Janet Christie at or 778-430-5460.

Lots of people in the Ashburn area still get it done, because you have to make an appointment weeks in advance with the Ashburn VFD. I thought I’d gotten my twins’ seats as tight as possible, but once I saw how the firemen got into the seats with their knees and put their full weight into them, getting several more inches of strap pulled through, I was glad I had them checked.
