Pre-Service Orientation sessions for Caring for Children and Youth with Special Needs
Saturday, February 15th, 9:00am to 4:00pm
Saturday, February 22nd, 9:00am to 4:00pm
Saturday, March 1st, 9:00am to 4:00pm

Offered by the Resource Team for the Ministry of Children and Family Development

Are you interested in providing foster care for children and/or youth with special needs such as autism, FASD, ADHD and/or physical and medical challenges? Do you believe you possess the skills necessary to meet these needs, such as a willingness to learn and be trained, patience, empathy, clear communication skills? Experience as a teachers aid, possessing a medical or nursing background or experience working with people with special needs are all assets to this field of work. We would love to hear from you and ask you to join our three orientation sessions as listed above.
